Hi, I'm Olga Prins! Originally from the Free State, South Africa, I moved to Ireland in 2006. What began as a one-year adventure turned into a lasting love for this country, leading me to open Olga's Craft Studio in the charming village of Ballinspittle in 2021. In February 2025 I relocated my shop to Ballincollig, a subarb of Cork City, where I live.

After workingas an ICU nurse, I decided to stay at home and raise my family. While doing that I picked up loads of things that I love to do like quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, knitting and crochet. After becoming an Irish citizen at the end of 2019 I'veI decided to create a welcoming space where creative people could connect and explore their creativity. I opened the shop in September 2021.

At Olga’s Craft Studio my passion is to provide sustainable products of superior quality. I aim to build a welcoming community and share the joy of handmade crafts.
